The Wickhams Christmas at Pemberly

Deck the halls at Pemberley in this Jane Austen-inspired production. While the Bennets and Darcys celebrate upstairs, the servants downstairs find themselves in the midst of a holiday scandal. Lydia’s ne’er-do-well husband—and Mr. Darcy’s rival—Mr. Wickham has arrived. It’s up to the loyal housekeeper, footman and new maid to keep the festivities running smoothly without revealing the unwelcome guest. As old misunderstandings and new secrets spin out of control, the residents of Pemberley prove that family, forgiveness and the true spirit of giving always win the day.

This is a show that is sure to boost the holiday spirit! Join the Barrington Lions Club during this seasonal celebration.  The net proceeds from this event support community service projects and scholarship funds.

The Barker Playhouse is a small theatre with open seating. All seats are great seats!

Alcoholic beverages cannot be sold at the theatre.  We recommend purchasing the Treat & Beverage package, below, which will provide a choice of non-alcoholic beverages or wine as well as a sweet treat!

Barrington Town Hall Ornament

The Barrington Town Hall, a building described by its architects as “medieval”, was constructed between 1887 and 1888.  It was officially dedicated on December 12, 1888.  Originally used as Barrington’s seat of government, library, and school, today, town and school administrative departments operate from the building.

Barrington Town Hall is part of the Barrington, Rhode Island Civic Center Historic District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
